More Scholarships

In addition to awards through the Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta, the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada offers four scholarships of its own.

• The Donald Cummings Apprenticeship and Industry Training Scholarship for Students with Learning Disabilities
• The Doreen Kronick Scholarship
• The Carol Thomson Memorial Fund Scholarship for Students with Learning Disabilities
• The Joanna Townsend Applied Arts Scholarship
• The Alberta Committee of Citizens with Disabilities also offers a busrsary, called the Education for Life Bursary. Find the application details here.
• The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada has a generous scholarship available to individuals with any disability. Find more details here.
• Blue Cross offers a number of scholarships at various institutions across Alberta. Some of these scholarships are primarily intended for students with disabilities. Find the information here.
• Alberta Learning Information Service (ALIS) has information on scholarships administered by Alberta Scholarship Programs with a wide range of availability requirements. Find the information on these scholarships, along with links to other scholarship opportunities here.
